The Woodshed Workshop exists to encourage the prophetic. It intends to help you develop a deeper relationship with God by encouraging you to recognise the many different ways He communicates, including through His word, dreams and visions, by revelation, promptings and other ways, but is not limited to these. It hopes that by recognising His ‘voice’ you would learn to trust Him more-so, in your own life.

Why a Woodshed Workshop? A workshop is where the maker’s design comes together. Parts are assembled and shaped into a finished product. Creative work in the ‘shop can be experimental, where different techniques are worked and practiced until they become second nature. In time, the worker becomes skilled at producing something of substance. In one sense, in the workshop, we can practice all the skills involved in the gift of prophecy.

Why a Woodshed Workshop? Wood is a living material that is easy to work, with the correct tool in skilled hands. Some wood types are harder and others softer, but all woods have a pleasing texture showing grain and colour, which can be preserved in the finishing. We could consider wood to represent people – a raw material in the Maker’s hands – being shaped into the image of His design. The Master Craftsman shapes us into the person He intends us to be, using prophecy.
